About
Starting on March 13 and ending on March 18, this 10-week program meets for one hour each Monday. Perfect for learners who thrive in interactive and collaborative environments, the course is taught by Young Writers Lab instructors in small groups of just ten students, ensuring personalized attention. Each one-hour session is designed to be fun, interactive, and engaging, helping students foster creativity, teamwork, and storytelling skills. Throughout the course, students will collaborate to create a professionally published group book, with their names officially registered in the Library of Congress as contributing authors. Every participant will receive a softcover copy and a digital version of the finished project, offering them a tangible reward for their hard work and dedication. The program also includes a Participant Guide filled with examples, access to exclusive YouTube videos, and supplemental activities to reinforce learning. With both virtual and in-person class options available, this program caters to a variety of learning preferences, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all. By the end of the course, students will not only become published authors but will also walk away with enhanced creative confidence and the joy of seeing their ideas brought to life in a professionally printed book.
