What can my child expect to learn from this program? Our program empowers children to bring their ideas to life by guiding them through the process of creating a children's book. Through collaboration, direction, and practice, we help them transform their thoughts into a finished story. While we support and inspire their creativity, our program is not focused on teaching formal writing skills or proficiency. Instead, we concentrate on the book creation process, fostering their imagination and storytelling abilities.

Will there be discounts for months with holidays?Great question! The Young Writers Lab program spans several months with a set number of sessions. While certain months may have more or fewer sessions due to holidays, the tuition structure remains consistent. This ensures that students receive a comprehensive experience across the full term. No refunds or credits will be given for holidays, as the overall schedule accounts for these breaks.
-
Can I switch class days/times?If there is availability in another class session, we’re happy to accommodate changes. Please email info@ripepublishinghouse.com to request a schedule change.
-
Are there makeup classes?Since our sessions run consistently throughout the term with exceptions for holidays, we do not schedule makeup classes. If your child misses a session, please contact info@ripepublishinghouse.com to explore options for attending another session that week, if available. In the event of severe weather causing cancellations, virtual sessions will be provided. Please check your email for updates.

What are the general class policies?By registering for YWL, participants agree to the following: Tuition for each program cycle is non-refundable once classes begin, as it covers materials and resources. Monthly payments are due on the 1st of the month for ongoing classes. Payment is a commitment to the course, and no refunds will be issued for missed sessions. Holidays are built into the program schedule, and there are no refunds for sessions that fall on these days. Instructors may be substituted if necessary. If a substitute is unavailable, a session refund will be provided. In case of insufficient enrollment leading to class cancellation, a full tuition refund will be issued.
-
Will my child be photographed during class? We may take photos during class for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please indicate "no" in the photo release section during registration.
